The GHIRARDUZZI company was founded way back in 1903. In these stories of ours, of projects and orders, we have never told a little about ourselves. Well, now is probably the time to do it.
Precisely in that year Roberto Ghirarduzzi opened his business as a blacksmith farrier in a small town on the Via Emilia. Manual skills and craftsmanship were his qualities; he created with his forge, anvil and hammer, whatever was commissioned from him.
His hands skillfully knew how to forge iron. Fire, time and strength completed the equation, making creations possible that could still amaze today with how they were created.
Those were years in which everything was linked to the hard manual work of the individual and there were no support machinery. Time was marked to a different extent and did not have all the importance that is given to it today and everything passed much slower.
Subsequently, 3 sons of Roberto Ghirarduzzi, moved by the same passion, began to work with their father, in the post-war period, in a country where everything needed to be rebuilt.
They started a new activity for the construction of drilling and water wells.
The Ghirarduzzi company therefore undergoes a transformation, from a small artisan workshop, going through a thousand difficulties, it manages to develop and grow this new industry, obtaining interesting results; after a few years it expanded, creating two operational headquarters: one for the production of the pipes necessary for the wells and the other linked to drilling.
This business remained operational until the 1960s, when a series of circumstances led one of the Uris Ghirarduzzi brothers to open his own mechanical workshop; abandoning the water drilling sector, it concentrated on the mechanical construction market linked to the industrial sector.
These are years of turmoil, of growth of our country and anyone with desire and passion manages to achieve important things, and it is precisely during this period that the business that the Ghirarduzzi company still carries out today was born and began to develop.
In the 70s with the entry into the company of the mechanical engineer Giorgio Cesari the real turning point and the new path of the company began.
The engineer develops an intuition that will prove truly successful: working for ecology.
He therefore begins to visit all the most important companies in the metallurgical sector…. in the Brescia area, throughout Lombardy and in Northern Italy, he built the first air purification systems and it was an immediate success.
The awareness and need to live in a clean, non-polluted world and to allow workers in large foundries to work in a safe environment is now growing more and more.
Since then the company has continued to grow, it is structured in a modern way, it has an excellent technical office that designs important systems in the all-round ecology sector (air purification, soundproofing, separation of various materials with recovery of the same)
The 80s-90s and 2000s marked continuous growth linked to ecological and environmental issues and led to the acquisition of experience and know-how in almost all industrial sectors.
This was fundamental to overcoming the various crises of recent years and emerging stronger and more motivated than before.
On the other hand, with such a long history behind us we can say that the only way to move forward is to continue to renew ourselves without being afraid of changing what are our certainties.
Today the Ghirarduzzi company is always operational and continues to produce at full capacity thanks to the solid foundations created by the family and its capable collaborative workers.
It pursues the same objectives that have always distinguished it, which are to create machines and systems entirely made in Italy with the best possible qualities and technologies.
We have machinery still operational and functioning with 1980 as the year of construction.
We still believe that this is the best business card we can present.
